Murdock provides a one key tool to unlock the Murdock Maintenance Advantage features on the A171 and A172 water coolers, but what happens if you misplace it and need to service the unit? Below is a list of three basic tools you can use to service your unit in a bind.
Flat-Head Screwdriver
The plastic pushbutton can be removed with a flat-head screwdriver.
Needle Nose Pliers
The VR push button, regulator retaining ring, and lower check stop can be removed with needle nose pliers.
1/4" Allen Wrench
The lower check stop also has a 1/4" Allen key socket molded into it.
9/64" Allen Wrench
You can access the filter through the EZ Filter Door with a 9/64" Allen Wrench.
