Welcome to The Team!

This month, we’re excited to welcome Jerott Holz to the HSA family! Based in Wisconsin, Jerott will be working closely with contractors and facilities, ensuring they receive top-notch support to help them succeed. His role will focus on training, troubleshooting, introducing new products, optimizing material handling, and driving demand for HSA’s offerings across residential, light commercial, and commercial markets.

With eight years of experience as a Union Plumbing Foreman in both commercial and residential industries, Jerott brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong ability to manage client relationships, identify opportunities, and boost sales. Jerott has real-world experience and a hands-on approach that uniquely qualify him for his role. He began his plumbing career in 2016 as a Union Plumbing Apprentice with local 75. He quickly obtained his med gas and back-flow certifications and worked his way up to a Foreman position shortly after becoming a Journeyman. His vast plumbing knowledge will help him to aid our customers in solving their most difficult plumbing challenges. 

Jerott’s last 15 months have been quite eventful. Last summer he married his wife Kayla, and just last month the two of them welcomed their first child, Mason, into the world! He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys all types of outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, boating, and snowmobiling.

Gerber National Sales Meeting

Joe Herkowski, Philip Traynor. CPSC. CPMR., and Penny Rimdzius had a fantastic time representing HSA in Houston this week at the Gerber National Sales Meeting! Along with productive sessions, they enjoyed a cocktail event and a fun, country-themed dinner. Huge thanks to Gerber Plumbing Fixtures for hosting such a great event—it was an all-around great trip!

Customer Service Week

Last week, we had the pleasure of celebrating Customer Service Week 2024! It was a moment to reflect on the incredible dedication and hard work of our customer service team. These amazing individuals go above and beyond every single day, ensuring that our customers receive top-notch support and care. Whether it's resolving issues or providing helpful guidance, they make a difference with every interaction. A huge thank you to the team for all that you do! We hope you enjoyed all our tokens of appreciation.

HSA Gives Back

We had an amazing turnout at the 2024 SE Wisconsin Heart & Stroke Walk on Saturday, September 21! We had a total of 17 people, including HSA employees and their families, complete the 3-mile walk at Veterans Park. After the walk, we enjoyed a team-building lunch at Oak and Barrel with great food and a few drinks.

Everyone had a fantastic time, and with the incredible support of our family, friends, and partners, we proudly hit our fundraising goal of $1,500! We couldn’t have done it without all of you, so we want to give a heartfelt thank you for your generosity. This has been one of our most successful HSA Gives Back events yet! Stay tuned for what’s next as we wrap up 2024.

A Busy End to the Summer

Last month was packed with activity and excitement! Our Wisconsin team, along with Ron Mims from AcornVac and Russell Gibson from Whitehall Manufacturing, had a fantastic time representing HSA at WHEA. We also hosted Gerber and Jay R. Smith trainings for showrooms and customers, ensuring everyone is up to speed on the latest product innovations.

We took part in several golf outings, including the 2024 Illinois Fire Prevention Association Golf Outing and the AIA Northeast Illinois Golf Outing, where we proudly sponsored a hole and showcased our products. Tara Jensema had the pleasure of attending the PMSMCA 2024 Sporting Clays Outing, with HSA proudly serving as a Clay Sponsor.
