Did you know the annual tradition of dyeing the Chicago River green for St. Patrick's Day and the Parade is sponsored by the Chicago Journeymen Plumbers Local Union 130? This tradition dates back to 1962, when the idea was proposed as a way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in a unique and memorable manner. Since then, the Plumbers Union has continued to sponsor and organize this event, which has become an iconic symbol of St. Patrick's Day in Chicago. With that being said, we'd like to give a special shoutout to Derek Vaughn and Nick Soristo, who are both members of the Chicago Journeymen Plumbers Local Union 130 and valuable members of our exceptional HSA Team!
