Helping Feed Seniors – HSA Gives Back

January 27, 2025

Herkowski Stickler & Associates, through its HSA Gives Back program, spent the morning of January 23 at the Milwaukee Hunger Task Force (https://www.hungertaskforce.org/) packing food boxes for seniors in need.

Brian Baxter, Katie Goodman, Jerott Holz, Mark Luczak, and Jeff Rudy attended, filling 480 Stockbox DoorDash boxes, which included juice, rice, canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, potato flakes, and peanut butter.

The mission of the Hunger Task Force “believes that every person has a right to healthy food obtained with dignity. We work to prevent hunger and malnutrition by providing food to people in need today and by promoting social policies to achieve a hunger-free community tomorrow.”

Hunger Task Force does not charge local pantries for food, delivery, or network membership fees. The organization is supported 100% by the local community.

In addition to its volunteer efforts, HSA made a monetary donation to the organization, allocating half towards the Adopt-a-Crop program, supplying a bountiful harvest bin of diverse crops for a local food pantry, with the other half towards the entirety of the Hunger Task Force program.

We are honored to participate in such a wonderful organization!
