In May 2025, for the company’s second-quarter HSA Gives Back initiative, HSA came together at Phil’s Friends – Addison Hope Center (Addison, IL). Brian Baxter, Mark Luczak, Lisa Pardue, Carley and Penny Rimdzius, Katie Goodman, and Jason Gerard rolled up their sleeves to color cards and boxes, pack care packages, and learn more about this amazing organization’s mission.

Phil’s Friends brings hope and encouragement to individuals and families through hand-decorated care packages, heartfelt cards, and personal visits. Since 2006, the organization has supported over 33,000 recipients with comfort items, personal care products, blankets, and Bibles, sent directly to their homes and hospitals.

The support doesn’t stop there. Monthly “Cards of Hope” and hospital visits through the “Hope to Hospital” program ensure recipients are never alone.

In addition to the staff volunteering their time, HSA also made a monetary donation to help further the impact Phil’s Friends makes in the lives of those affected by cancer.
