This December, we partnered with 12 Days of Hope, a program that allows donations to be directed in a way that helps captains coordinate shopping lists, essentials, and deliveries for each family they support.

One of the most impactful gifts provided through this program each year is rent support. These payments are often the biggest financial hurdle families face. When generosity covers a month or two of rent, the emotional relief is tremendous—it gives families a chance to breathe, save a little, and maybe even purchase a few Christmas gifts they never expected to afford.

On December 23rd, Joe Herkowski delivered a check on behalf of HSA that covered a full month of rent for a mother and daughter in need. It is important to us to keep the spirit of HSA Gives Back alive and continue making a meaningful difference in the communities we serve.
