About ConTrols

For nearly 50 years, ConTrols has made commercial buildings safer for their occupants with dependable valves. The company has a passion to build reliable products that meet or exceed standard listings and approvals.

Based in Lake Bluff, IL, ConTrols manufactures the BASyC®, TempFlow®, Alpha®, and Omega® product lines, as well as a full line of ConTrols® water pressure reducing valves (PRVs).

With the ConTrols name branded on all its pressure-reducing, balancing, and tempering valves, the sentiment that “There is no substitute for quality” is embodied in every ConTrols product that leaves its testing and manufacturing facilities.

Check Valves

Check Valves are designed to allow flow in one direction and protect against crossflow.

ConTrols check valves, which are offered with unions/adapter kits, feature engineered thermoplastic, stainless steel springs, and lead free construction suitable for water supply pressures up to 400psi and temperatures up to 180°F.

Mixing Valves

Placed directly at the water heater, master mixing valves thermostatically combine hot and cold water to achieve the appropriate temperature for the hot water distribution system.

In order to protect against Legionella bacteria growth in the tank, ConTrols master mixing valve stores water at 140°F or higher before delivering it to the distribution system at approximately 120°F.

The ConTrols master mixing valve is offered in five sizes, able to be used for applications both small and large.

Pressure Reducing Valves

Pressure Reducing Valves are designed to regulate incoming potable water pressure to protect plumbing system components and reduce water consumption.

ConTrols all stainless steel hardware and lead free Pressure Reducing Valve are suitable for supply pressures up to 400psi, are factory set to 50psi and may be adjusted from 10-75psi.

All parts, including the strainer, are quickly and easily serviceable without removing the valve from the line.

Tempering Valves

ConTrols offers both Lavatory Tempering Valves, which can be used to regulate and temper the water delivered to single or multi-station showers and lavatories, and Emergency Tempering Valves for use with emergency eye washes, face washes, eye/face wash combinations, and drench showers.
