Herkowski Stickler & Associates, through its HSA Gives Back program, participated in the 26th annual Back to School Basics School supply giveaway coordinated by the Sheboygan Area School District. Hosted by the Sheboygan Community Recreation Department and the Sheboygan Optimist Club, the cost in 2023 to supply one child with basic school supplies was approximately $16.
HSA employees donated their time unboxing, sorting, and pre-bagging supplies for the distribution of materials to more than 1,100 children in need. With the help of our staff, business partners, wholesalers, and customers, HSA was able to meet its donation goal, supplying more than 60 children with basic school supplies. Through the assistance of Murdock Manufacturing, reusable water bottles were also provided for each of the school supply bags.
We’re appreciative of all that contributed to this wonderful cause, including Paul Kennedy, CEO of Dakota Supply Group, Tracy Priebe with Ferguson Enterprises in Appleton, and HSA staff, particularly owners Joe Herkowski and Steve Stickler, and Phil Traynor.
